The first thing I was asked after I responded to an open call to Graphic Designers was whether or not I can finish the assignment by the end of the night. It was approximately 6pm when I accepted the job. I immediately got to work. There wasn't much instruction which can be both a plus and a minus. I decided to go with the luxury as a theme. I used an interpolation of the Louis Vuitton 'LV' logo. I wanted to offset the LV with an X that looked like it belonged to a tech company. I put it all together and voila. The client accepted the first draft which I got to him before 8pm (first photo above.) He made a request to change the color scheme and to add some depth. I completed the job by 11pm. For me, speed doesn't automatically mean quality has to be sacrificed.
