This is one of many creative flyers I made for my Open Mic series. My hometown Jersey City,NJ is very close to Manhattan. However, the entire state is not only married in proximity and culture to NYC but also to Philly. So I thought it fitting to combine the most popular rapper (at the time) from New Jersey to the most popular person from Philly. It's not just the amalgamation of Fetty Wap and Will Smith along with all the design nuance but also the background and lettering I chose. I wanted to capture the feeling of the Fresh Prince to make party goers understand the vibe of the function before they even arrived.
