This commission was for a fashion designer upstart. It was targeted at a young adult hip hop demo. I figured there were plenty of crown logos out there. I decided to go with a hand drawn effect with this one. Focusing on heavy line work in consideration of future print work for the line. I wanted the lettering to match the unorthodox design of the crown. The gems were made in the same spirit, making them feel more illustrated than hard stones.
